Watchers by Dean Koontz - I wanted something trashier and jucier than the pile of literary fiction and non-fiction library books stacked on my coffee table, so I went to my son for input. He gave me Watchers, and I spent the whole bleak rainy afternoon absorbed. Dean Koontz reminds me a little of Stephen King - part psychological thriller, part mystery and a sprinkle of the supernatural on top. This one was a rollicking story that kept me interested and involved to the last page. Just what the librarian ordered for today.
